TweetThis will be a night full of laugh-out-loud moments as the UK's finest comedians take to the stage at Whitton Comedy Corner! Entertaining you will be stars of TV, radio and social media...
Spring Day - "A Definite Must See! " - ThreeWeeks
As seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Spring Day is an American stand-up comedian, writer and actor in London. Spring’s uniquely acerbic and sassy style of comedy is always a crowd pleaser, or shocker... A fluent Japanese speaker and a mild cerebral palsy haver, Spring began her career headlining at the Tokyo Comedy Store whilst based in Japan. She has written, produced, directed and performed seven solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also written for and appeared in BBC Three sitcom Jerk; performed on UKTV's Rosie Jones's Disability Extravaganza; and has written for BBC’s Horrible Histories.
James Dowdeswell - “Intelligent and inventive” – The List
James is an imaginative storytelling comedian who combines deft stand-up with daft stories. He is a headline act at most top UK comedy clubs. Dowdeswell has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), Celebrity Deal Or No Deal (Channel 4)and Olympics Greatest Moments (BBC). He also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ Extras. He is currently filming in his own comedy show about wine called James Dowdeswell – Black Belt In Wine.
Sol Bernstein - "his anecdotal material certainly got some big laughs." - GiggleBeats
He's performed all over the world at venues including The London Palladium, New York's Carnegie Hall, The Paris Olympia, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, and Scunthorpe Baths, but it's at night clubs where Sol really comes to life. His charisma, his style, his catch phrase "why don't you put on a tie" his chutzpah, put it all together and you get the magic that is Sol Bernstein.
And your MC for the night, the returning... Ninia Benamin - "Comedy Assassin" – The Voice
Ninia Benjamin is one of the UK’s funniest comedians and comperes, with a wealth of television, stage and live stand-up experience. Ninia’s TV breakthrough came as one third of BBC3’s Three Non-Blondes, which later transferred to BBC2 and BBC America before going to a second series, shown internationally. From this, her talents have been showcased across all the major UK channels in a variety of roles, as a comedian, presenter, studio guest, and actress.

It is difficult to hear what guests are saying when compere heckles them. Wondered if you could rig a mike up at front so rows further back can hear what people being heckled are saying

Another fantastic show. Good value for money. Love the smaller venue, you really feel part of the show. We try and attend every month.
