The Rhostio Rooftop Comedy Festival is back! Now in its fourth year, Roasted Comedy has another special summer in store, with six weeks of double bill previews from some of the most exciting voices in comedy, with acts from across the UK bringing you advance previews of their latest solo shows before they take them to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Join us live from the Rhostio roof terrace* for top quality coffee, cocktails and comedy!

CORDELIA GRAHAM: FAINT HEART NEVER F*CKED A PIG

My 5”3 father had a mantra: faint heart never f*cked a pig. Marriage, millions and a 500-seat opera house built out of a former cattle shed were his. Whereas I’ve built nothing physical: I’m a comedian, a comprehensive schoolteacher and a former teenage champion of Classical Greek recitation competitions. On Easter Monday 2025, he died from dementia and now I’m left trying to live up to his mantra without taking it literally. An hour of storytelling and stand-up about writing the eulogy for my dad’s funeral and how I reconciled the identity of my father, my hero, with my own.
