Our next show is on Wednesday, 20th February 2019 and the stars of the show are Allyson June Smith, Tom Wrigglesworth and Tony Vino.
Allyson June Smith started performing comedy in 2000 in Canada, where she has been nominated for the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-Up. Playing to packed rooms has become like another day in the classroom for this former school teacher. Her credits, to name a few, include her own hour long Comedy Now special, appearances on CBC Radio’s hit show The Debaters, the Winnipeg, and Just For Laughs Festivals. Allyson is now making waves in the UK where sassy stand-up and hilariously insightful commentary is going down a treat.
Charismatic wordsmith Tom Wrigglesworth began his ascent up the comedy ladder in 2002 and has steadily earned a reputation as a promising and dynamic newcomer on the British comedy circuit. The lanky Yorkshireman has continued to take the UK circuit by storm, wooing audiences far and wide with his inspired, distinctive style and assured delivery. An articulate and natural raconteur, he possesses an innate ability to riff with an audience like they are old friends. With a winning combination of an impossibly likeable persona and a catalogue of first class material, his set is littered with stylish one-liners and twisted tales which reveal an inherently dark humour.
Tony Vino has been touring the comedy scene since early 2005 performing across the UK and internationally. Tony has enjoyed recognition as a comedian and notably comedy compere of renown. He is best known for the way he seamlessly mixes well thought out observational humour with audience interaction and quick witted responses. His life and interests are wide ranging, and so is his material, all performed in a warm, friendly and non-offensive style. When hosting festivals and corporate events Tony’s confident effervescent persona has been found ideal for engaging crowds in their 100’s and 1000’s. Well aware of social and political issues Tony has been called upon to entertain at many high profile events for charities such as Christian Aid, Oxfam, Fairtrade Foundation and TearFund.
A guaranteed great night out and all proceeds go towards the work of the Well Community Projects. The show starts at 7.00pm.
Tickets are £10 if you buy them in advance or £12.00 on the door.
